Bring out the Imp: About Me

Hello. I’m basically your typical horror geek in need of an outlet, a way of indulging my passion and putting it out into the world. My first horror blog, in which I created horror-themed desserts, was called Terrifying Treats. I received such a positive response that I thought it was time to move in a more general direction. I’ve started this blog as a way to chronicle my observations and encounters with the horror genre in my everyday life. My hope is that it will lead me to new, exciting experiences, force me to think more critically about the art of horror and, ideally, put me in contact with other people who love the genre as much as I do. If you would like to leave feedback or just have a chat about horror, please feel free to email me at or  leave a comment.

I hope you’ll enjoy reading this blog and I’d love to hear from you.

  1. Hi Iota

Love the reviews of the Glasgow Frightfest movies.
I run a horror website (we do reviews, interviews, features etc) and just wanted to let you know if you ever fancied contributing something to our site, I’d be delighted,
Love the baking blog too by the way 😉

  2. Hi IOTA!

A very refreshing blog you have going here! Cheers!

How can I get in touch with you to send you some info on a horror show I’m working on London that I eventually want to bring up to Scotland? Assuming you’d be interested, that is…

Please email me and thanks again for the great site!

  3. Howdy! I could have sworn I’ve been to this blog before but after checking through some
of the post I realized it’s new to me. Anyways, I’m definitely delighted I found it and I’ll be book-marking and checking back frequently!
